John Comninos, founder of Comninos Law, graduated with a B.Proc degree from the University of South Africa in 1997 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 1999. Trained under some of the finest legal minds in South Africa, John has built a formidable practice specializing in Real Estate, Commercial Law, Litigation, Family Law, and Criminal Law. His extensive business experience — having owned and operated premium retail sites for leading international brands — gives him a rare commercial insight that sets him apart in the legal field.

Evy Michalopoulos is a dynamic force behind Comninos Law, having launched the practice alongside John Comninos in 2006 after graduating with distinction in Para-Legal Studies from Intec College. With a lifetime of business acumen from owning and managing family enterprises, Evy brings an exceptional depth of experience to every client matter, working closely with John from the first consultation to courtroom success.
Beyond her legal role, she is the CEO of Lifeprop Real Estate, a Johannesburg Real Estate company known for its professional excellence, and serves as Chairlady of a prominent body corporate. Evy’s commitment to service extends to her role as CEO and founder of The Machi Filotimo Cancer Project, a charitable initiative honouring her late mother and embodying the same passion and dedication she brings to the practice of law.
